Welcome to Unmanned Workshop. We are committed to safeguarding user privacy and ensuring you have complete transparency and control over your data while using our virtual reality application. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is processed and used, how we handle VR-specific spatial data, and how you can exercise your legal rights regarding your information.
2. Information We Collect and Process
We process and collect data only where necessary to provide you with a high-quality procedural modeling and simulation experience.
A. Information Provided by You or Meta APIs
User-Generated Content: Saved configurations, customized 3D mesh parameters, structural drone and aircraft designs, and simulation flight telemetry that you explicitly save within the application.
Meta Account Information: If utilising Meta services, we may process your unique Meta User ID to facilitate cloud saves, achievements, or headset-specific application settings.
B. Device, Technical, and Telemetry Data
Hardware Information: Device hardware specifications (e.g., Meta Quest model, OS version, language settings, and display performance limits).
Performance Diagnostics: Crash logs, frame rate telemetry, and application stability metrics. This data is collected to optimize high-performance computing systems (such as procedural mesh generation and simulation loops).
C. XR Spatial and Kinematic Tracking Data (VR-Specific Data)
Local Device Data: To operate in virtual reality, Meta Quest headsets track device positioning, controller kinematics, and spatial boundaries.
Our Stance: Unmanned Workshop does not collect, transmit, or store spatial data, hand-tracking data, or physical room boundary data on our servers. All tracking data is processed strictly in real-time, locally on your hardware device, and is discarded instantly when the application closes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We utilize your data strictly for functional, developmental, and optimization purposes. We do not use your data for targeted advertising, nor do we sell your data.
Core Functionality: Storing and loading your custom modeling projects, saved templates, and environment presets so your workshop state persists between sessions.
Performance Optimisation: Analysing telemetry and crash logs to improve rendering efficiency and ensure smooth execution on Quest hardware.
Feature Refinement: Aggregating anonymous usage patterns to understand which modeling systems or engineering tools are utilised most frequently, allowing us to guide future updates.
4. Third-Party Sharing and Sub-processors
To deliver a reliable software experience, we may utilize verified third-party infrastructure providers (sub-processors). Data is only shared with these platforms to perform specific technical services:
Cloud Infrastructure & Analytics: If cloud-saving features or telemetry aggregators are used (e.g., Unity Analytics, AWS, or Meta Cloud Saves), data is securely processed under strict confidentiality terms.
Legal Compliance: We will only disclose user data to law enforcement or government authorities if explicitly required to do so by a binding legal order or regulatory obligation.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Unmanned Workshop is intended strictly for users who meet the minimum age requirements specified by Meta for independent accounts.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers.
6. Your Global Rights & Data Deletion
Depending on your geographic location, you are granted specific rights regarding your personal data under regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Your Rights Include:
The Right to Access / Portability: You may request a clear copy of any personal data we have stored or processed relative to your account.
The Right to Rectification: You may request that we update or correct any inaccurate personal details.
The Right to Restriction: You may request that we temporarily or permanently halt the processing of your data.
The Right to Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten"): You have the absolute right to request that all data collected or stored about you by Unmanned Workshop be permanently purged.
How to Submit a Data Request or Deletion Request:
To exercise any of these rights, please follow this process:
Send an email to GyraLabs@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Privacy Request" or "Data Deletion Request".
Provide your Meta Quest Username or account identifier so we can accurately locate your stored files.
Our team will verify your identity and fulfill the request, permanently deleting or exporting your project configurations and telemetry files from our active servers within 30 days.
7. Data Retention Policy
We keep your personal and technical data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.
Account & Save Data: Retained as long as your application profile is active or until you request its deletion.
Diagnostic & Telemetry Logs: Automatically aggregated, anonymized, or completely purged after 90 days.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy as our development cycle continues. When revisions are made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed on how we protect your information.
